Executive Manager, Broker Partnerships

The Role:

The role of the Executive Manager Broker Partnerships function is to bring together all aspects of the national distribution strategy, servicing our key national partners & broker groups to develop and execute market management activities primarily via the Strategic Relationship & Events Management team.

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity to cover parental leave.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop and execute strategic focus areas to maximise performance across National & State Distribution resulting in achievement of financial targets, adherence to risk, compliance and regulatory obligations and position our Intermediated Brands, Vero & GIO Workers Compensation, positively into the market
• Collaborate with C&PI Leadership Team to set market activities that support, align and achieve annual growth budgets in chosen market segments within risk appetite and develop strategic plans covering the distribution service model that flow from national groups to state brokers and local ARs
• Financial coordination and management of intermediated fee agreements
• Coordination of the intermediaries’ platform strategy in partnership with T&T, Projects, Strategy and Operations
• Support, design and execute to market, key strategic initiatives that support our Intermediated Brand Proposition
• Support of the SRM team to retain and grow our broker business
• Support of the Events team to execute market management activities across the various training, education and conference activations

What you’ll bring:

• Degree in Business, Commerce, or related field
• Proven Commercial Insurance & Intermediated market experience
• Strong experience in development and implementation of business strategies across SME Platforms, Commercial, Workers Compensation & CTP functions
• Experience in building frameworks to optimise business performance
• Experience in presenting at Senior Levels of Management (Internal & External)
