Technical Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for Technical Officer – Claims Operations, to join our Team in Sydney on a permeant full-time opportunity. 

Position Overview:

• Job Title: Technical Officer – Claims Operations
• Location: 10 Shelley Street, Sydney 2000
• Salary: $ 80,200.00 inclusive of 11.5% Super
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid role with mix of Work from Home and in Office, (post probation period)
• Shift Patterns: Full-time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

• Maintain SOP’s for onshore processes
• Undertake more complex operational activity
• Actively review and improve team processes, procedures and work practice for onshore and off shore teams
• Review business change initiatives and provide advice to Leader on approach and involvement of team in design and testing (incl. UAT)
• Ability to independently manage complex complaints and customer issues
• Ability to undertake root cause analysis of processing issues including investigation and the ability to escalate matters to resolution

• Time Management – ability to implement the necessary tools and techniques to effectively balance and manage priorities
