Product Specialist, Product & Portfolio

• 12-month secondment opportunity
• Work collaboratively across the Motor value chain to deliver integration Product optimisation initiatives aligned to business strategy

• Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Adelaide location (hybrid, 50% office / 50% work from home)

About the role

The objective of the role is to deliver ‘world leading’ customer experiences. The Product Specialist role (Product & Portfolio) is responsible for the design, solution, delivery and quality of the Motor product program of work ensuring exception customer experience within the Motor Insurance business.

What you'll do

• Provide business expertise of product optimisation opportunities and advise on solutions designs and delivery aligned to systems and processes
• Leads the planning of Motor product initiatives within the Motor Product and Digital Experience team
• Apply the appropriate governance frameworks and methodologies to ensure the successful initiative design and delivery
• Actively works to find opportunities (includes a robust test and learn plan) to ensure optimisation and continuous improvement throughout the year, demonstrating incremental learnings
• Delivers initiatives into production, with a focus on robust execution – including ensuring acceptance criteria are appropriate and proactively fulfilling UAT, PVT and release activities
• Addresses product issues with a sense of urgency around remediation. Ensuring incidents are limited in duration, and where necessary IRIIS are resolved efficiently

What you'll bring 

• Minimum 2 years in insurance and/or financial services experience
• Minimum 2 years in Motor Insurance product (desired)
• Minimum 2 years of delivery / agile experience
• Relentless commitment to improving customer experience and delivering high quality customer solutions within required timeframes
