About the role:

The role of Market Solutions Advisor is to support the strategic execution of various initiatives in the Broker Experience team that enable the effective delivery of the distribution strategy. The role focuses on building best in class customer and broker experiences through effective communication, organisation and stakeholder management. The advisor will support strategic initiatives through discovery and effectively collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer outcomes. 

The role requires collaboration with key stakeholders across the value chain to solve customer pain-points identified through brand and customer surveys to realise strong customer experience. The aim is to enhance the customer experience with a focus on differentiation to meet retention and growth objectives.

Strong organisation ability is required to coordinate various initiatives (including projects) into a program of work. Effective delivery is paramount to ensure the short and long term financial and customer value proposition objectives are met. 

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to setting and delivering various aspects of the team’s objectives
  • Collaborate, innovate and create business solutions to drive initiatives that will deliver growth, retention and profit objectives
  • Increase penetration into targeted customer and broker segments through strengthening brand appeal of our products and services
  • Strong relationships between Distribution, Underwriting, Digital, Brand and Marketing in the coordination and deployment of products, and broker experience team initiatives
  • Use knowledge of the market, competitors and customers to understand brand competitive positioning, strengths and opportunities.

What you'll bring:

  • At least 10 years commercial experience in insurance, coupled with relevant qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Vero and GIO products, policies and services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the intermediated broker market
  • Highly organised and ability to use process/project management tools to ensure initiatives are planned, tracked and everyone is kept up to date until delivery.
