Shannons, part of the Suncorp Group, is looking for an exceptional leader to join us as Manager Events and Strategy. This 12-month parental leave secondment is a unique opportunity to drive Shannons’ event strategy, deliver "money-can’t-buy" experiences for high value clients, and shape the future of Australia's most loved motoring brand.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and drive the Shannons event and partnership strategy across Australia
• Lead a high-performing team, fostering a strong customer and community focus
• Identify and implement new partnership and adjacency opportunities that resonate with motoring enthusiasts
• Grow Shannons’ presence across 1200+ events annually, including showrooms, grassroots events, partnerships, sponsorships, and large-scale activations
• Build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring risk, governance, and compliance frameworks are met
• Leverage customer insights and commercial acumen to continuously evolve and improve the brand experience
• Represent Shannons at major motoring events, building your own professional brand while creating iconic brand moments

• Proven leadership in a large, customer-focused, service-driven business
• Strong distribution experience and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Deep understanding of risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks
