A key member of the team is the Procurement Support Analyst who plays a pivotal role in supporting the Procurement Manager, Category Advisors and Analysts with the identification, sourcing, and contract management of our suppliers.
The role is diverse, and no two days are the same. We are looking for a self-starter who loves systems and processes, data analytics, and generally being the go-to person to drive improvement opportunities across the Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading processes to identify improvement opportunities including developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures where applicable.
- Working with the Procurement Manager to develop appropriate controls to manage risk.
- Identify where further value opportunities exist through comparative analysis and other methods.
- Maintaining reporting dashboards to improve visibility of procurement activity to the Procurement Team and wider Business Stakeholders around spend and contract management.
- Ensuring the Contract database (Ariba) is up to date and accurate.
What we are looking for:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Business Administrator, Analyst or similar role (required)
- Experience with procurement information systems (advantageous)
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to learn and improve processes
- Procurement or business degree (advantageous)
