Technical Advisor – Motor Claims

• Provide customer focused technical support to the Motor Claims teams

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Advisor to provide expert, timely, and customer-focused technical assistance to our Motor Claims teams. In this role, you’ll deliver coaching solutions aligned with business needs, aimed at improving quality and supporting the Commercial Motor Claims strategy. You’ll also provide insights to Claims Officers and business leads to facilitate effective performance conversations and identify development opportunities, with a continuous improvement mindset.

What you'll do

• Support Claims Officers by providing technical expertise on products, systems, processes, and procedures by responding to queries and providing on the job coaching
• Responsible for ensuring Knowledge content is relevant, accurate and up to date
• Conduct technical capability reviews for teams as per the Commercial Motor Claims Quality Framework
• Work proactively and collaboratively to manage workloads
• Monitor changes in the wider Motor Claims environment and manage impacts accordingly
• End to end facilitation of new staff training
• Coach and support Claims Officers to feel empowered to make decisions and own customer outcomes

What you'll bring 

• 2+ years Insurance experience within Claims
• Clear understanding of Suncorp processes and systems
• Good overall knowledge of the end-to-end Claims process
• Coaching qualification or equivalent internal training well regarded
