About the role

In collaboration with the Commercial Motor Claims leadership team, the Manager Leasing role leads a claims team to deliver exceptional service to Leasing customers nationally, with a strong focus on team engagement. To be successful, you’ll need a strong understanding of customer and intermediary needs, along with the ability to manage and reduce claims costs, claim durations, and handling expenses.

What you'll do

  • Leadership and development of Commercial Motor Claims Officers
  • Actively motivate, develop and engage team to drive results and create a high performing team
  • Manage team performance to achieve strategy, targets, goals and budget
  • Analysis of data and reports to identify trends to continuously drive an improvement
  • Adopt a customer focus in the delivery of internal /external services
  • Build, enhance and maintain quality relationships with all internal and external customers
  • Alignment of team objectives to ensure effective delivery of our customer proposition

What you'll bring 

  • 5 years’ Insurance experience, with ideally at least 1 year in Commercial Claims
  • 2 years’ previous leadership experience
  • Proven experience interacting with external stakeholders at all levels
  • Completed or completing ANZIIF studies, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of insurance industry principles, regulations, products, and procedures
