The Role:
This is an exciting role that will create greater value for Suncorp customers and supporting stakeholder business strategy outcomes by bringing the best of the supply market to Suncorp through leading the creation of, or materially engaging across Insurance Claims Motor, Personal Injury and Fraud and Intelligence procurement management activities.
This is with the primary objective of maximising value, reducing costs, leveraging scale, market innovation and building competitive advantage in third party engagements.
This role will also bring market leading supply chain solutions to Suncorp, through extracting value across defined categories, reducing costs, managing day to day supplier relationships, and reinforcing the Senior Leadership Team commitment to cost management, demand and culture.
This is a 6-month secondment opportunity.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to and execute on the Procurement Leadership team accountabilities and procurement strategy
- Undertake complex contract negotiations and contract execution for defined procurement categories within the Motor, Personal Injury and Fraud and Intelligence insurance claims line of businesses
- Lead strategic direction for the Motor, Personal Injury and Fraud and Intelligence claims businesses in procurement and, in conjunction with key stakeholders, oversee development and execution of strategies across Insurance Australia market segment
- Deliver on the creation and ongoing management of a high-performance procurement culture of strategic deal-creation across the Motor, Personal Injury and Fraud and Intelligence claims procurement team
- Drive organisational change to develop best-in-class procurement performance
- Categories may include assessing solutions, repairer panels, materials and labour service providers that support Motor Claims, Personal Injury and Fraud & Intelligence categories.
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualified degree in commerce, business administration or Procurement disciplines or related field
- Extensive Procurement experience across multiple industry sectors
- Demonstrated leadership experience
