Analytics Lead – Product & Regulatory Reporting

As the Analytics Lead, you’ll guide a talented group of analysts and help steer critical initiatives across Suncorp’s Consumer portfolio. With your leadership and technical acumen, you’ll play a vital role in delivering data-driven insights that support profitable growth, enhance reporting accuracy, and ensure regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coach a team of analysts to deliver high-quality reporting and analysis
• Extract and interpret data to provide actionable insights
• Manage project initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
• Champion continuous improvement and innovative reporting techniques
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure visibility, alignment, and delivery of strategic objectives
• Promote a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing culture

What You’ll Bring

• Proven strong technical proficiency in SAS, SQL or other relevant programming languages (e.g. Python, R)
• Experience in a leadership role within data, analytics, or reporting
• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or similar)
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
• A passion for mentoring and developing people
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative mindset
• Insurance product knowledge is highly desirable
