Senior Business Analyst - Digital Insurer End to End

• Work on one of the largest transformation programs Suncorp has ever undertaken
• Min 4 years’ BA exp, must have worked on projects end-to-end

What you’ll do:

• Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholders
• Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
• Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
• Create detailed user stories to support delivery.
• Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.
• Mentor/train team members; participate and contribute to Business Analysis Chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadership.
• Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.

What you’ll bring:

• ESSENTIAL: Minimum 4 years’ business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role; from a large organisation
• Experience working in the Insurance space and on a large transformation project
• Minimum 3 years’ Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
• Must be able to work with ambiguity
• Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
• Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously.
