You'll steer our AI and Emerging Technology portfolio across Consumer Insurance, driving digital innovation and customer impact.
As a virtual leader of a dedicated cross-functional squad, you’ll guide the delivery of AI-powered solutions that redefine how we serve and support our customers — while working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment backed by one of Australia’s leading financial services brands.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a cross-functional squad delivering AI and tech-enabled transformation across Consumer Insurance
- Own and prioritise the squad backlog, ensuring work aligns with customer needs, risk obligations and strategic priorities
- Collaborate with technical teams, senior stakeholders, and customers to define business requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones
- Drive outcomes with a focus on innovation, digital capability, and measurable business impact
- Act as the primary voice of the customer, bringing clarity and purpose to the squad’s mission and direction
- Influence change, manage complex dependencies, and lead continuous improvement activities across the portfolio
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance or financial services and 1+ year in project delivery
- Strong understanding of AI solutions and emerging technology (desired)
- Proven ability to lead Agile squads and deliver complex digital initiatives with clear business value
- Strong commercial and technical acumen — able to translate strategy into executable delivery plans
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills including at senior leadership level
- Experience with data-driven decision-making, change management, and risk-aware delivery practices
- Product Owner certification and relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred)
