Senior Performance Advisor

About the role:
The Senior Performance Advisor will work closely with the Performance Lead as well as internal and external stakeholders to help create, implement, monitor and drive accountability and performance amongst the supply partners in line with Suncorp Home Claims strategies.
The Senior Performance Advisor will contribute to the strategic management of the panel including overall panel make up, tiering, communications and engagement while being responsible for driving favourable supplier cost management and capacity commitments in line with existing and developing supply related initiatives.
More specifically, you will:
- Review and assess ICBM data and compliance
- Support negotiations with suppliers where opportunities exist
- Collaborate with Category Analytics team to identify and prepare opportunities
- Work closely with Supply Chain Performance & Development Managers
- Negotiate with supplier panel for sustainable rates and capacity
- Work with Procurement to adjust contracts post negotiations
- Monitor market, category and product trends
- Identify innovation opportunities across existing panel
- Develop and maintain supplier segmentation approach and framework by region
- Develop and facilitate best practices for commercial negotiation
- Manage IN4MO performance-based allocation.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of the Home Claims ICBM strategy for supply-chain management to generate cost and quality benefits.
- Drive adherence of the contract, Governance and Control Frameworks including understanding and adhering to the Operations Guide
- Lead the delivery of supplier risk assessments and audit activities, including the facilitation of audit meetings, the review of outcomes and provision of advice to the claims management team on supplier strategy.
- Contribute to driving team and group priorities through leading program of work initiatives to delivery.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to identify and implement improvements, including emerging trends to the performance management strategy.
- Provide specialist advice to Group Procurement in the negotiation of contracts.
- Summarise and share insights across the Group to deliver actionable recommendations on changes required to streamline improve supplier performance and service delivery.
- Oversight of the design, suitability, and accuracy of strategic supplier related communications.
About You:
- Qualifications within one or more of the following professions: Finance, Procurement, Risk, Data Analytics, Project Management or Trade Experience (desired)
- Minimum 5 years insurance industry experience, preferably in claims & leadership roles
- Minimum 2 years supply chain or supply management experience
- An understanding of supply chain principles and best practice
