Portfolio Leader – Consumer Insurance

As Portfolio Leader, you’ll support the development and execution of the Home Prevention & Protection strategy. You’ll translate business objectives into actionable programs, monitor market trends, and collaborate across teams to deliver strategic outcomes that align with Suncorp’s enterprise goals.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine the Home portfolio strategy, aligning with business planning and long-term goals.
• Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to identify trends and inform strategic responses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design initiatives that drive customer and business value.
• Prepare strategic materials for senior management and Board audiences.
• Coordinate execution of key initiatives that support strategy and performance, in consideration of risk and compliance requirements.
• Build strong relationships across the Consumer Insurance value chain to support strategic delivery.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ commercial experience in the insurance industry.
• Proven ability to develop and implement business strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Strong financial, analytical and commercial acumen, with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience in initiative and transformation delivery, including performance frameworks.
• Ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders across diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
