About the role

This role is pivotal in supporting the effective governance, resilience, and continuous improvement of Motor Claims process governance. Reporting to the Process & Governance Manager, you will play a key part in the planning, coordination, and execution of our Programs of Work. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to support initiatives that enhance the ensuring regulatory compliance and an optimal experience for both customers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the early-stage planning of initiatives by assisting with data requests and analysis, process mapping, documentation of current-state workflows, and identifying potential improvement areas.
  • Proactively consider, identify, and manage risks, issues, and blockers. Actively demonstrate and promote strong risk maturity and awareness.
  • Perform and monitor specific first-line controls (such as Knowledge Management, Delegations of Authority, WalkMe process controls) as directed. Support control testing, monitor exceptions, and assist in timely remediation and uplift activities in collaboration with control owners.
  • Operational Resilience & Continuity (CPS 230): Support the maintenance and periodic testing of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Critical Operations readiness. Coordinate MCC inputs for enterprise resilience exercises and response frameworks under guidance.
  • Coordinate and prepare MCC responses to regulator requests and advocacy activities. Ensure approvals and records are maintained in line with policy and support the upkeep of relevant function registers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities across the Motor Claims Customer space by supporting appropriate oversight of a portfolio of initiatives and providing regular, proactive status updates to stakeholders as required.
  • Work autonomously while supporting the execution of Process & Governance initiatives and provide regular status updates to stakeholders as required. Support stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment across delivery streams.
  • Help track progress and performance against strategic targets.

What you'll bring 

  • Practical experience in governance frameworks, controls, and compliance routines (e.g., knowledge/content governance, DOA, CPS 230 resilience, data governance).
  • Knowledge of the Insurance business, including claims product and systems experience.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage timelines effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
