About the opportunity

You will report into the Service Owner for the Business and Agri Platform, within the Lending Practice.  Overseeing and guiding the Lending Business & Agri Service team that is structured into multiple cross-functional squads.

Acting as a scrum master, you ensure that team follows the enterprise delivery framework, Agile ways of working and values. You will facilitate Agile operating practices including but not limited to delivery planning, epic and story decomposition, story point estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, velocity tracking and resource capacity planning.

In this role you’ll get to…

• Primarily manage production and DR environments of the Business and Agri practice. Where applicable, adopt the agile methodology in managing outcomes and ensure that platforms are secure, performing, compliant and up to date.
• Organise and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and showcases.
• Ensuring our services meet our business SLAs.
• Represent the Lending Business & Agri Platform when communicating with stakeholders outside the team on progress and new engagements.
• Work through an initiative to ensure completion to achieve successful outcomes.
• Promote new ideas to ensure ongoing focus on continuous improvement 

What you’ll bring to the role 

You will have working knowledge of Service Delivery and Service Support disciplines as defined under ITIL and have a proven track record in maturing a service management team.  You will be able to manage service partner relationships, and service contracts to agreed SLAs.  Leadership or management experience or have been a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager or similar role is preferred.

 To be successful in the role you will have: 

• Proven experience working in and managing production environments.
• Experience using Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage and deliver outcomes.
• The ability to determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
• Experience in monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
• Experience in preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
• ITIL qualifications would be highly desirable
