We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

As a Loan Services Officer within the Loan Fulfilment team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Bank’s lending operations by ensuring accurate and compliant preparation of legal and security documentation.

Your work will directly impact our ability to protect the Bank’s interests and deliver seamless experiences for our customers. Collaborating closely with lenders, internal teams, and stakeholders across the business, you’ll ensure efficient, timely processing while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and service.

This role offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge of property legislation, conveyancing, and loan securities in a fast-paced environment, where your attention to detail, customer focus, and commitment to continuous improvement will help drive success for the broader OPS division.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review legal and security documentation to support loan approvals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal procedures and regulations.

  • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and lending teams, providing guidance on documentation requirements and resolving any discrepancies efficiently.

  • Accurately manage data entry and loan information in banking systems, meeting productivity and quality targets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

  • Proactive, innovative and prepared to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and co-operative.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight timeframes with the ability to prioritise.

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment or autonomously.

  • Highly accurate approach with strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of the Consumer Credit Code and Banking Code of Practice is desirable.

  • General understanding of loan securities.

  • Ability to prioritise, monitor and organise workflows.

  • Previous experience and knowledge of loan securities, land titles and other forms of property legislation, stamp duty legislation and practices are highly desirable.

  • Experience in a loan processing centre, security documentation or conveyance functions.

We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 60% on site attendance (as of July 1st) in a local Head Office.

This is for a Full-time, 12 Month Secondment role, preferably in Bendigo, but we are open to applicants in any of our Head Office locations.
