Known internally as a Senior Corporate Analyst you will report to the National Manager Corporate. You will manage and influence customer relationships in the Corporate area of the Bank, contributing to the lending growth and retention targets of the team.
This role works in the team to deepen existing customer relationships through relationship management and understanding our customer needs. The customer relationships and transactions can be of complex nature requiring an advanced ability to meet challenges and provide solution-based outcomes.
In this role you will make an impact by:
- Assist in achieving profitable growth by meeting all asset growth, non-interest income, non-gap income targets, referrals and expenditure control in line with agreed targets.
- Assist in achieving target lending margins to ensure acceptable return on equity and appropriate returns for risk, in line with agreed targets.
- Manage the end-to-end loan application process.
- Assist to instruct Solicitors to prepare documentation and register securities.
- Undertake customer needs analysis to identify and fulfil broader financial needs of customers.
- Continuously work to increase cross sale of collateral bank products, increasing depth of relationship and product penetration in line with targets.
This is a full time, permanent position. Utilising flexible working arrangements, you can be based anywhere, however there is a preference for Melbourne to enable face to face contact with your manager and local customers.
What you’ll bring to the role!
- Customers are front of mind in everything you do
- Advanced credit and financial analysis skills with experience structuring complex credit papers and cash flow modelling is essential.
- Success in building strong stakeholder and customer relationships.
- Good understanding of commercial markets.
- Advanced experience and understanding of the end-to-end lending process.
- Confidence and ability to influence and negotiate while co-presenting at the Credit Committee.
- Self-motivated and proactive with effective planning and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn new concepts and financial structures
