Join the newly created Direct Business Banking team and be a key part of our Business Banking growth strategy. We are a team of small business specialists dedicated to helping micro-business customers to grow their businesses.
As a Business Direct Lender, you are responsible for the retention and growth of our Direct Business portfolio of customers: predominantly managing business customers with lending needs below $500K. Financial analysis is a key part of your role. You will explore leads for new business opportunities and maintain exemplary customer service delivery for the existing portfolio of customers.
In this role you will get to do:
- Demonstrate record of customer service and/or sales excellence.
- With your financial analysis skills, you will analyse and interpret financial statements.
- Interact with your customers and support them through their buying cycle from enquiry, to preparing an application, and following through to settlement.
- Have a high-level understanding of small business lending products, policies, and regulations.
- Ensure that the customers receive the right solutions to meet their needs, including discharges, Equipment Finance, and business credit cards, providing sound credit decisions for both customers and the Bank.
- Proven capability in building trusted relationships via phone or email.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Business lending experience, financial and risk analysis and assessment of cashflow would be ideal
- Demonstrated ability in sales or and the delivery of exceptional customer experience
- Sound knowledge of the Business Credit Card Policy and Equipment Finance process is critical to ensure continued growth preferred
- Willingness to learn and apply new knowledge and skills
