The Manager of Virtual Personal Lending will oversee a small group of sales, lending, and customer engagement personnel. Their responsibility is to promote needs-based sales and personal lending fulfillment for customers through various channels, including inbound and outbound calls, email, messaging, and any emerging service technologies. Aiming for growth in personal lending, this role focuses on fulfilling our customers' financial service requirements, increasing customer product ownership, and providing outstanding service in every interaction. This team leader will provide effective leadership and guidance in managing people, processes, sales, credit, and compliance.

You will play a crucial role in coordinating the efforts of the team, ensuring that everyone is working towards a common goal and delivering high-quality results. The Team Manager also contributes to financial and business objectives by effectively managing resources, maintaining appropriate skill levels, and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

As Team Manager – Virtual Personal Lending you will have:

• Proven ability to facilitate team members’ training and individual development needs with sound coaching skills.
• Ability to guide and lead that attribute to retail ways of working
• Ability to achieve objectives with and through others, delegating appropriate tasks and empowering team members.
• Advanced interpersonal communication skills - influencing, relationship building and customer service experience, together with strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proactive, innovative, and prepared to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service.
• High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
• Exposure to of a wide variety of functions, processes and systems in a financial service environment preferred
• Experience with Banking platforms and reporting tools such as PowerBI/ Lending platform systems is highly desirable.

This is a 12months fixed term position can be based anywhere in Australia. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 40% of your time per week in the office, increasing to 60% as of July 2025.
