Virtual Banking will transform the way we engage with customers through digital and phone across both Retail and Third-Party Banking. It is responsible for ensuring compliance, ongoing health and proactive growth of customers.

in this role of Home Lending Specialist - Retail Virtual Lending position, you will be responsible for inbound calls where you will assist Internal and External customers with all lending enquiries and execution of lending requests such as conducting needs analysis and completing lending applications for personal lending, credit card & home loans.

 

As a Home Lending Specialist, you’ll require the following:

  • Good understanding of the Bank’s lending products, digital and self-service offerings, policies, and regulations
  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Advanced technology and digital capabilities
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport with key community stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to and accept change.
  • Proven relationship building skills to achieve financial outcomes.
  • Understand financials and performance of the business.
  • Lending experience is preferable
  • Residential Lending DLA desirable
  • FSRA Accreditation T2 – Deposit Taking & Non-Cash Payment Facilities & General Insurance

 

These are Permanent position to be based anywhere in Australia. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 40% of your time per week in the office, increasing to 60% as of July 2025.

 

The Retail Virtual Banking opening hours will be Monday – Friday, 0900 – 1830 (AEST) and Saturday, 0900 – 1700 (AEST). You will be required to work a rotating roster within these opening hours.
