Our Corporate Secretariat division is a critical support function of the Bendigo Bank group. Our highly capable team of passionate professionals provide top tier executive corporate administrative, governance, and compliance support to the Board.
We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Board Coordinator to join the team in either a full time or part time capacity (4 days per week). Reporting into the Company Secretary, with a dotted line to the Board, you’ll provide administrative and operational support to the Company Secretary and team, as well as the Board.
No two days will be the same as you seamlessly manage and plan day to day workflows, juggle multiple competing priorities, adapt to changing needs, and jump in to assist with ad-hoc tasks as required. You’ll bring your expertise with diary and inbox management, travel arrangements, event management, and administrative tasks to assist the team and Board to be productive and highly organised.

This role is Melbourne based to work closely alongside the Company Secretary. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 60% of your time per week in the office.
As Board Coordinator, you’ll get to:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Board by ensuring support is of a high standard
- Manage multiple calendars, book and organise meetings (including travel/accommodation when required)
- Coordinate information for various meetings and ensure minutes and support papers are distributed within a reasonable timeframe
- Organise manage workflows by monitoring inbox, responding to invitation requests, and priority emails as requested by the Board
What you'll bring to the role:
- Demonstrated previous experience in an administrative role, ideally at Executive or Board level
- Highly developed time management skills, constant attention to detail, including the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and multitask
- Team player, displaying a positive team attitude and willingness to help whenever possible
- Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
