As part of the Bendigo Bank Agribusiness division, our Direct team is a fast-paced centre of excellence, focused on providing expertise and support to a wide range of agribusiness clients.
The key to our team success is in thanks to our Direct Managers, who build new relationships and deepen existing relationships quickly via phone, email and chat.
The role of Direct Manager provides exceptional customer service and product support, with demonstrated capability to understand our customer changing needs and provide relevant sustainable solutions.
The Direct Manager role will support the growth and transformation strategy by:
- Being responsible for the retention and growth of our national portfolio of customers.
- Interact with your customers virtually via phone or email to ensure our micro-agribusiness customers (TAE up to $750k) receive the right solutions to meet their needs.
- Explore leads for new business opportunities (virtually) as well as maintain exemplary customer service delivery for the existing portfolio of customers.
- Develop and deliver win-win financial and lending solutions that meet the customer’s needs, objectives and interests and the Bank’s growth target and risk appetite.
What you’ll bring to the role
- With a good understanding of Agribusiness banking and markets, you also bring lending capability and success in sales roles to this position.
- You have great financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements and ideally also experience in credit analysis and agribusiness lending.
- We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You will have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to lead by example.
- Support the Service Associate team by providing quality feedback, coaching and mentoring, aiming to deliver a consistent customer experience across the portfolio.
- A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline
