As the Team Leader Customer Fraud and Scam (Alerts) you’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading a medium sized team of investigators/analysts that helps to protect our customers and communities from Financial Crime. 
  • Managing and improving the performance of the team through coaching, operational and strategic planning, rule management and continuous improvement.
  • Growing a happy and engaged team who are autonomous and empowered to fulfil their roles in the most effective and efficient way.
  • Managing rosters and prioritising daily tasks and workflow to ensure service levels are achieved and urgent cases escalated. 
  • Working across teams to identify fraud trends
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement and refining our processes and documentation

 

This is a full-time position available as a 12 month maternity leave secondment and can be based out of Melbourne, Adelaide or Bendigo. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of minimum two days per week in the office, increasing to minimum 60% in July 2025.  

 

What you’ll bring to the role

  • A strong of understanding of Fraud and Scam risks and typologies and/or card operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a fast paced operational and/or call centre team
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in Active Ops/Control IQ Workware planning (or similar) and understanding of the methodologies. 
  • Developed Leadership skills.
  • A self-motivated, proactive and flexible work attitude in respect to undertaking a variety of tasks within tight timeframes
