Our Digital Communications team within the Digital Marketing Centre of Excellence are proactively driving innovation in our marketing channels, leveraging technology and data-driven insights to create digital experiences that connect with our customers. We're looking for someone who is equally passionate about data driven experimentation, personalisation, digital experiences and leadership.

We currently have a brand-new full-time position for a Digital Optimisation and Personalisation Manager to lead our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and UX teams. Leading a small team of subject matter experts, you’ll be comfortable navigating change and working in an agile environment. Your experience in large complex organisations, ideally in highly regulated environments, can be combined with your technical knowledge of how to personalise customer journeys and experiment – driving continuous improvement to the customer experience. An impactful leadership role where you will help shape the future of digital marketing.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Adelaide, Bendigo, or Sydney. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 60% of your time per week in the office.

 

As Digital Optimisation and personalistion Manager you’ll get to

  • Lead and mentor the CRO and UX teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Guide the development and implementation of A/B and other testing strategies, personalisation initiatives and other optimisation techniques across Bendigo Bank's digital marketing channels
  • Effectively manage and prioritise multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, using agile methodologies
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimise customer journey and increase conversion rate
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, effectively communicating team progress and achievements
  • Champion a mobile-first approach, ensuring digital content is engaging, accessible and optimized for all devices
  • Lead through change, adapting to evolving digital trends and technologies

 

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a digital marketing team ideally in a highly regulated industry
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), digital personalisation, customer jouney mapping, UX, data analytics, and current digital marketing trends
  • Comprehensive knowledge of web design standards, usability, accessibility, and rich media
  • Hands-on experience with website and analytics tools (GA4, Crazy Egg, Site Improve) and Digital Experience Platforms (Optimizely or similar)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
