The People Services team (you would know them as PAC – our People Advisory Centre) is the heart of employee support within People & Culture, handling all employee HR queries. PAC aim to provide timely, accurate, and consistent advice, ensuring a positive experience for every Bendigo Bank employee.
We're thrilled to announce a fantastic secondment opportunity for a People Consultant (Service Delivery), to be part of an uplift project until the end of June 2026. The key focus of this role, working closely alongside the PAC Operations Manager, is to uplift PAC’s Service Delivery to the business for people enquiries. Here’s what’s in scope:
- Uplift of all Tier 0 content
- Introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Tier 0 self-help
- Implementation of a Service Management module in People Hub for Tier 1 and Tier 2 enquiries
You’ll be creating content that will provide top-notch advice and improve support to our colleagues, helping them navigate policies, procedures, and more! You'll be creating self-service tools that will educate staff and leaders, contributing to a culture of empowerment, and regularly sharing insights to enhance PACs services.
This role will combine your capabilities to understand the needs of our business from a people perspective and write clear instructional content in the form of user guides. You’ll also get to flex your curious mindset on the use of AI tools in this space, setting BEN up to optimise AI usage now and into the future.
This role can be based in Adelaide, Bendigo, Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 60% of your time per week in the office.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Instructional design experience to support development of Tier 0 content on SharePoint (BENnet, People Leaders Hub or MyBENU as appropriate)
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for explaining complex topics clearly
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with experience at all levels
- An understanding of AI tools, or a keen interest in developing skills in this area
- Experience advising on people policies, processes, and industrial instruments would be advantageous but is not essential
