The Role

The Team Leader (Branch Station) works with the Regional Management Team (RMT) to manage the workforce and operations of the branch stations in their assigned region, to support the effective and efficient operation of the region. 

The position provides leadership support, undertakes tactical and short-term strategic planning, actively contributes to workforce development and strengthens networks across their region to support the achievement of Ambulance Tasmania’s strategic goals. 

The position manages branch station workload and resources and provides relief on a short-term basis for fatigue purposes, in order to support the provision of high-quality ambulance services. 

The position undertakes active and effective participation, as a member of the RMT.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term full time shift worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 21 April 2026.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification: 

Salary $156,149 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

  • Salary range is in accordance with Ambulance Tasmania Agreement 2022

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia. 
  2. Holds a Bachelor of Paramedic Science or other qualification approved by the Service and relevant work experience with an additional qualification in management or equivalent.  
  3. Current Driver Licence. 

Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
