The Role

  • Provide high level leadership and direction in the development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate quality and patient safety improvement strategies for Oral Health Services Tasmania (OHST).
  • Provide high-level consultative advice on a broad range of issues relating to quality and patient safety, including the development of strategic policy, planning, service development and performance reporting.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the principles of patient safety and continuous quality improvement are applied in the delivery of OHST across the State.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to other staff employed throughout the service who are involved in the development and implementation of quality, patient safety and infection control strategies.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 12 February 2026.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification: General Stream Band 7 

Salary $128,102 - $134,832 per annum + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
