As a Business Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects that improve health outcomes for Tasmanians. You’ll work closely with your Manager and colleagues to provide high-quality business and administrative support across finance, governance, resource management, and more.
***Please Note: An organisational restructure is currently underway, which may result in this position being relocated to the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Further details will be provided during the interview process.***
Key Duties
- Deliver expert business support across project administration, financial processing, governance, and customer service to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate and process financial transactions in line with government and departmental policies, contributing to accurate and transparent financial management.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support the delivery of both project and business-as-usual outcomes, ensuring alignment with service standards and deadlines.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing business solutions, streamlining processes, and maintaining clear and effective documentation.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting others, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible for a 6-month period.
Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Classification: General Stream Band 4.
Salary $81,915 - $94,263 per annum + 12% superannuation
