The Role:
Provide specialist nursing expertise to assist individuals and their families to adjust to living with chronic kidney disease including, delivering high level renal education and health promotion activities to promote evidence based and person-centred patient care within an interdisciplinary framework
- Highly developed contemporary knowledge and skills in renal nursing, chronic disease, and self-management practices with experience in assessment, care coordination and problem solving for complex renal patients.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of educational principles and practice with the ability to plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate education sessions across a variety of settings.

Details of Appointment:
Fixed term, part time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing October 2025 to approximately 25 April 2026.
Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 5
Salary: $106,570 - $112,440 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
