Senior Physiotherapist – AHP Level 3 –AMU/Medical

The Role

• LGH physiotherapy department would like to invite expressions of interest to fulfil the Senior Physiotherapist – Acute Medical ward (AMU) position. This position would see a team member providing care within AMU/across the medical wards as a Senior Physiotherapist. You will be working alongside other Senior and Junior Physiotherapists and other multidisciplinary team members within the Alasdair MacDonald AMU and the medical wards of the LGH (3D, 4D/NCCU, 5D and 6D in 3R).

Details of Appointment

Fixed term full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, 26 January 2026 until 6 July 2026.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification: 

Salary $110,425 - $121,907 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging

• Please note that access to salaries beyond $109,964 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme 
• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022.

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

1. Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
2. Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

1. An active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
2. Current Driver’s Licence

Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
