The Role:

  • Undertake and/or coordinate complex work and major statewide projects relevant to the Home and Community Care programs.
  • Scrutinise, research, investigate and analyse proposals and other issues of relevance to the Director and provide high level advice, develop proposals and options and put forward recommendations.
  • Provide high level advice and assistance to the Director, Deputy Secretaries, relevant Ministers, the Secretary, and other senior staff in relation to the Home and Community Care programs and the efficient and effective discharge of the Directors functions.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for 12 months.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification - General Stream Band 7

Salary

$132,460 - $139,392 per annum + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.

Eligibility

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • Relevant qualification from a recognised institution or equivalent experience

Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
