Reporting to the Senior Manager, Major Projects, this full‑time permanent position sits within the Major Capital Delivery team. As the Project Manager – Delivery, you will be instrumental in achieving business outcomes through the effective delivery of the capital program.
This includes implementing best‑practice systems, processes and procurement methodologies, and ensuring all assigned projects within the Major Capital Program are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and functional standards.
The role will be primarily based onsite at the Western Treatment Plant and at the Docklands Head Office, where you will collaborate with tier‑one contractors to deliver major infrastructure projects on behalf of Melbourne Water.

The Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) Act 2018 requires Melbourne Water, as an operator of critical infrastructure, to prepare a Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP), which has been undertaken and managed by the Security and Emergency Management Team.
Melbourne Water are required to assess roles across Melbourne Water to determine what roles are critical under the Act. All employees working in a role deemed SOCI critical will require additional background checks via AusCheck. The role of Project manager Delivery is deemed critical and the preferred applicant will be asked to undertake an AusCheck.
