This twelve month fixed term contract will support the implementation of the Yarra Strategic Plan and help to achieve collaborative management of the Birrarung with Traditional Owners and government agencies.
The Yarra Strategic Plan – Burndap Birrarung burndap umarkoo 2022–2032 is the first of its kind for Victoria. The 10-year plan puts the interests of the river and its lands at the heart of future land use planning and decision-making. This role will help to lay the foundations for a new collaborative governance structure for the river.
You will be responsible for applying strong problem solving, project management, community and stakeholder engagement and organisational skills to deliver the outcomes of the strategy.

This full time permanent role will be based from our 990 La Trobe Street Head office, or our North East Regional Office in Croydon, as well as working from home. You will be responsible for delivering environmental water on behalf of the Victorian Environmental Water Holder and it includes liaising with storage managers and resource managers such as Southern Rural water and our storage managers.
The role will work closely with the Water Resources Management Team (Environmental Water Resources), Traditional Owners and with customers to deliver optimal environmental water improvements and outcomes.
Ensure the threats & vulnerabilities to our enterprise platforms are actively managed to effectively protect Melbourne Water’s environment.
As the Service Owner you will be responsible for the Asset Management System used internally: Maximo and associated field mobility applications.
Within the role you will also be setting and agreeing service levels and key performance indicators and monitoring those on a regular basis.
Financial management of the service; including tracking and reporting associated costs. Assessing the maturity of the service and developing the strategy and roadmap for the evolution and continuous development of the service.
This permanent part time role (4 days a week, or equivalent) will see you based at our Western Treatment Plant (WTP) in Werribee, as well as working from home. As the Sewerage Quality Data Specialist you will be responsible for leading the implementation of requirements of the Bulk Sewerage Agreement (BSA) in relation to Sewerage billing, including accurate preparation and completion of weekly and monthly invoices for sewerage billing.
Your experience in stakeholder management will see you succeed in building and maintaining relationships with our Retail Water Companies (Greater Western Water, South East Water, Yarra Valley Water)
This role will involve providing a strategic view of Melbourne Water’s future business needs and suitability of Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS) products, in alignment with enterprise architecture.
It will include the Development of a multiyear roadmap of business capability aligned with MW strategic needs, covering the AMIS technologies, including Maximo and Esri and their mobility aspects.
This role will deliver specialist engagement and stakeholder communications content, support and direction to the Melbourne Water teams and drive Melbourne Water’s Next Generation Community Engagement approach across Melbourne
Water and our service providers to ensure a customer centric approach to project delivery.
