We currently have two Urban Growth Officer positions available. These roles support urban growth through various engineering and planning activities with the intention of achieving Melbourne Water's objectives for drainage and floodplain management.As the Urban Growth Officer you’ll be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience while working through development applications to ensure that all new developments meets flood protection standards and water quality treatment performance.
The position involves investigations, analysis and project management activities. The responsibilities also include timely advice to developers and local government on urban development proposals. The successful candidates will be working in a supportive team culture creating in excess of $100 million worth of assets per year to manage drainage and environmental requirements in new developments.
Within this Part Time Role as the Delivery Administrator you’ll be responsible for day to day administrative functions, related to the procurement and purchasing life cycle. You will be a positive contributor to the team who can demonstrate drive, determination and a level of self-management, believe your quality output is important and aligned to Melbourne Water values.
Be responsible for driving a more integrated approach to business and labour planning, strategic planning, continuous improvement and innovation across the Integrated Planning Group.
As the Program Development Analyst you will provide analytical support to Waterways and Land Delivery programs across both capital and maintenance, with a focus on the program planning and scheduling function. You will provide data analytics, reporting and insightful business analysis services to inform program development, and will support the implementation of program improvement initiatives.
