    As the Leading Hand for Waterways and Land Delivery, Works Execution you’ll be responsible for providing in field oversight to crews for delivery of natural resources management on Melbourne Water’s Waterways and Land assets. Key accountabilities include; To work with and provide in field oversight of crews undertaking various on-ground activities. Accountable for meeting specified quality, timeliness, budgetary and compliance requirements including improvement initiatives and support to the wider team. *We have multiple roles available for both permanent and fixed term contracts*

    As the Crew Natural Resource Management you’ll be responsible for the execution of natural resource management and civil maintenance/project works on Melbourne Water’s Waterways and Land assets. This role will be based out of our South East Regional Office in Bangholme, with work sites located anywhere from inner south and east. This role is part of our South East Works Execution team and involves activities including vegetation and grass maintenance and natural resource management within our grass team as a spray rig crew member, therefore carrying out both grass and NRM activities.

    Within this two year fixed term contract you will contribute to the delivery of the Flood Information Program and development of the processes and procedures required for the effective management of Melbourne Water’s flood information so that timely, accurate, and fit for purpose information is available to internal and external customers. This role is within the Asset Management Services team, where you will work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Melbourne’s flood modelling information is current and fit for purpose.

You will work to support the People Business Insights and Reporting Lead in assisting HR Systems and analyst reports, as well as general administration to support the HR Digital Systems team.     As the Contracts Coordinator you will be responsible for the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of procurement plans to support the ongoing delivery of works for Waterways and Catchment Operations. Within this six month fixed term contract you will be responsible for the implementation of category level sourcing strategies, specifically sourcing and implementing contracts for equipment maintenance and supply of stores items, contract administration, and supporting the automated procurement of inventory items for stores from preferred suppliers.

    As the Major Hazard Facility Engineer, Silvan you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of our obligations under the Silvan Major Hazard Facility (MHF) Safety case. This includes; Performance monitoring, review and reporting of MHF safety controls and liaison with WorkSafe. Coordination and participation in WorkSafe Oversight visits and Annual Inspections. Support and lead the management of change process for operational and maintenance changes, new capital works, incident investigations etc. Supporting Emergency Planning activities, including Contingency Plan and Emergency Response Plan review and testing.     This part time opportunity (3 days a week) will see you work within the Delivery Works Execution Team. During this six month fixed term contract you will be responsible for day to day administrative functions, related to the procurement and purchasing lifecycle.     As the Senior Asset Manager, (Mechanical) Project Development, you’ll be responsible for developing asset renewal and optimisation capital projects across the Sewerage Mechanical & Process asset base including; Investigation, options assessment, and business case development Development of project Functional Requirements Facilitation and oversight of engineering feasibility options & design assignments Development of costing and scheduling for projects Identification of project risks, opportunities and benefits Supporting project delivery with asset management technical knowledge through to acceptance of completion of works. This role will involve projects from $40k to $40M in value and extend across Melbourne Water’s Sewerage Asset portfolio including Eastern and Western Treatment Plants and major Pumping Stations. *Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract, 4 days per week, with other arrangements possible*

    As the Senior asset Practitioner, Catchment & Land Melbourne you will provide technical and strategic leadership, oversight and guidance to support and/or deliver a range of activity and projects aimed at developing and improving the Catchment and Land team’s application of Melbourne Water’s asset management practices. The Catchment and Land Team are responsible for managing Melbourne Water’s water supply catchment areas as well as large parts of the organisation’s land estate. You will act as a conduit to the Asset Strategy Governance and Improvement (ASGI) team to ensure asset lifecycle management activities meet businesses expectations, and act as a key feedback loop to the team for any engagement with the ASGI team. You will also  work collaboratively across the Catchment and Land team to support achievement of business plan targets, alongside asset management process application improvement targets
