About the Role

We are seeking experienced Mining Operators to join us at Pembroke Resource’s autonomous project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.

The Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres southeast of Moranbah. Pembroke Resources has awarded Thiess a five-year contract to deliver comprehensive mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management, rehabilitation, and the construction of mine infrastructure.

Working on a 7 days on, 7 days off day/night roster and reporting to the Mining Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output.
• Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures.
• Operating, driving, and moving material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads.

About You

• Proven experience operating in a mining environment with Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Water Trucks, or Excavators.
• SSE signed skills list.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Current Standard 11.
• Experience with CAT MineStar technologies, including Command for Haulage, Fleet, and/or Terrain - advantageous.
