THE OPPORTUNITY

Thiess is currently seeking a Training Administrator to join our team at our Peak Downs mine located 6km south-east of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working a 9-day fortnight, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Provide system and administrative support to the Training Coordinator and HST Manager
  • Correction checking of training documentation
  • Maintenance of Thiess and client training systems
  • Assist with on-boarding of new employees when required
  • Assist with the implementation of the project training needs analysis
  • Perform other duties as may be defined by the HST Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Exposure to administrative roles within a resources, construction, or similar industry
  • Working towards Certificate IV in Training and Assessment advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office (specifically strong Excel skills) and SharePoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and committed to meeting deadlines, continuous improvement and delivering results
  • Ability to work well in a high-volume busy work environment
