About the role

• Facilitate the coordination of side-wide health & safety activities including risk assessments, workforce engagement, compliance, health & safety campaigns, preparation and participation in internal/external audits, oversee systems management, maintenance of records and reporting.
• Play a pivotal role in the implementation of the injury management (preventative, non-work related and worker's compensation)
• Demonstrate and influence a proactive safety culture - lead by example
• Provide support and assist the immediate team and site leads in achieving the site's health and safety deliverables
• Have the experience and willingness to step up into the HS&T Manager role from time to time when required 

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable 
• Experience in injury rehabilitation coordination 
• ICAM Investigation experience 
• S1, S2, S3 and G2 
• Strong computer skills 
• Ability to communicate across all levels 
• Adaptability and flexibility essential 
• Hands-on approach, lead by example and ability to influence proactive safety behaviours
