About the role
As the Senior Health & Safety Advisor at Mount Pleasant Operations, you will assist the HS&T Manager with the maintenance, effectiveness and compliance to the site's Safety and Health Management System.
This role will see you:

Facilitate the coordination of side-wide health & safety activities including risk assessments, workforce engagement, compliance, health & safety campaigns, preparation and participation in internal/external audits, oversee systems management, maintenance of records and reporting.
- Play a pivotal role in the implementation of the injury management (preventative, non-work related and worker's compensation)

Demonstrate and influence a proactive safety culture - lead by example

Provide support and assist the immediate team and site leads in achieving the site's health and safety deliverables
- Have the experience and willingness to step up into the HS&T Manager role from time to time when required
About you
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable
- Experience in injury rehabilitation coordination
- ICAM Investigation experience
- S1, S2, S3 and G2
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to communicate across all levels
- Adaptability and flexibility essential
- Hands-on approach, lead by example and ability to influence proactive safety behaviours
