About the Role:

Thiess is seeking an experienced Mining Superintendent to lead our mining operations team at Mount Holland in driving safety, productivity, and efficiency across the site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individual and team production targets through a cooperative approach with the workforce
• Promoting and maintaining a collaborative, safe and value driven culture within the workforce
• Coaching and mentoring the Mining Supervisors for continuous improvement and personal development
•  Ensure that we are a plan driven organisation and that will foster a strong relationship with the technical services team to achieve the required outputs

We are looking for someone who:

• Previous experience as a Mining Superintendent
• Prioritizes people and can lead high-performing teams while building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Boasts extensive experience in mining maintenance, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results.
• Places a strong emphasis on client relationships.
• Possesses knowledge of relevant mining-related legislation, including codes of practice and Australian Standards.
