What you’ll do 

We are seeking an experienced Asset Estimating Specialist to provide critical support to our operations and tenders by:  

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing plant rates and maintenance cost estimates for tenders 

  • Adjusting plant rates on existing projects to achieve break-even result 

  • Analysing project costs for monthly reviews and benchmarking 

  • Completing asset life reviews, considering operating costs, major component cycles, ownership costs and overhaul requirements 

  • Advising on asset selection for new work based on fleet availability, considering productivity, reliability and cost. 

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • University Degree or trade qualification  

  • 1-3 years’ experience in operational roles  

  • Strong analytical and estimating skills  

  • Proficiency in in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint.) Macro/ VBA experience would be beneficial 

  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate across teams.
