ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Lake Vermont Project, situated in Dysart, North Queensland is currently seeking a Serviceperson to join their Maintenance department.

As our next Serviceperson, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor working a 7/7 even time roster, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Working a 7/7 day/night shift roster you will be required to:

· Operation of a variety of field-maintenance equipment, including tilt-tray trucks, service trucks, boom-type elevated work platforms (EWPs), and tool-carrier loaders

· Maintain the plant safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedules.

· Conduct refuelling operations and assist fitters where required

· Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times

· General workshop duties

ABOUT YOU:

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Mechanical trade or equivalent (desirable)
• Prior experience working as a serviceperson on a mine site (highly regarded)
• Current RIISM212D or RIISM212E
• Demonstrated experience in the mining and/or heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
• Current Standard 11 an advantage
• HR driver’s licence preferable
• Working at Heights, EWP (High Risk), Forklift (High Risk), Confined Space and Franna ticket highly desirable
