About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Partner - Finance & Administration to join the team at our Mt Arthur South Project.

In this diverse role you will provide professional advice, support and guidance to the project team to ensure financial targets are achieved.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Finance and Administration functions on site.
  • Report the financial position of the project in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with accounting standards and group accounting policies
  • Liaise with the client to ensure progress claims are lodged, certified and paid in accordance with contract requirements
  • Undertake monthly cost reviews with project managers.
  • Manage finance and administration systems to meet project requirements and ensure finance/administration processes are followed
  • Lead, coach and develop administration team members by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and mentoring

 

About You

  • You will have completed a tertiary degree in accounting or have extensive relevant experience.
  • Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Established experience working in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Leadership experience in finance and administration functions.
