What you’ll do
In this role, you will maintain and configure HR/Payroll systems, support HRIS integrations, and deliver accurate, insightful payroll reporting that drives performance and compliance.
You will play a key role in ensuring our payroll systems operate efficiently, support organisational change, and remain aligned with Enterprise Agreements, organisational structures, pay rules and business processes.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical HR/Payroll systems experience who enjoys problem‑solving, data analysis, and partnering with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update system configuration documentation.
- Support Preceda configuration and associated HRIS components.
- Manage relationships with external support vendors (e.g., Wipro).
- Provide technical support for HR‑to‑Payroll integrations.
- Manage wage costing files and prepare data for upload to JDE Accounting.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests, including extracts and reporting.
- Support Oracle HCM data updates and configuration.
- Contribute to the development of payroll business and technical processes, user guides, and documentation.
- Deliver monthly end‑of‑month wage reporting for Finance and Australian operations.
- Produce Pay Accuracy dashboards and analytics that enable actionable insights and support payroll accuracy.
What you’ll bring
You bring experience in both Payroll and HRIS environments, with a strong foundation in system support, data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration. With a background working across multiple HR and payroll platforms, you are confident troubleshooting issues alongside IT teams and supporting payroll delivery teams to maintain accuracy and compliance. Your technical strengths—particularly in Excel, Power Query and report development—enable you to analyse data, produce meaningful insights and support ongoing system improvements. You communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively across Payroll, Finance and Technology teams to drive positive outcomes.
You will have:
- 2+ years’ experience in a Payroll or HRIS support role, working across multiple HR and payroll systems.
- Strong technical capability with advanced Excel and data analysis tools such as Power Query.
- Experience partnering with payroll delivery and IT teams to resolve system and integration issues.
- Skills in reporting and data analysis using payroll/HR data, including building or running system-generated reports.
- Effective communication skills, able to work confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across Payroll, Finance and Technology teams to support business outcomes.
