About the Role

As the Ancillary Mobile Plant Maintenance Planner on site at Mt Arthur South, you will work as part of the wider maintenance planning team towards delivering a high quality maintenance plan. In the role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance planning and scheduling for Caterpillar graders, dozers, loaders and service / water carts. You will also be responsible for the ongoing monitoring and management of dozer blade and undercarriage rebuilds. 

In this role you will: 

  • Effectively plan machine maintenance to ensure maximum availability and reliability 

  • Ensure statutory compliance of fleet 

  • Monitor site machine health systems 

  • Monitor and manage dozer blade and undercarriage rebuilds 

  • Develop and strengthen key internal and external stakeholder relationships 

  • Continuously identify areas for improvement and innovation 

About You

To be considered for this role you are required to have: 

  • Relevant trade or mechanical engineering qualifications 

  • Experience in maintenance planning highly regarded 

  • Five years maintenance experience 

  • Experience in plant management and document control systems is desirable 

  • Knowledge of maintenance and planning systems 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 

  • Experience in use of maintenance tools i.e. JDE
