The Opportunity

This role exists to bridge HR Processes and technology, ensuring that Oracle HCM is a scalable, compliant and value-adding global platform. You will participate in the development of business cases that recommend investment.You will assist in assessing the return on investment for initiatives and ensure that work is completed on time, fit for purpose, according to budget, meets stakeholder requirements, and is of a high standard.

 

About The Role

This role exists to bridge HR Processes and technology, ensuring that Oracle HCM is a scalable, compliant and value-adding global platform. You will participate in the development of business cases that recommend investment. This role ensures that Oracle HCM is configured and used effectively to meet business needs, enable global consistency, comply with local legislative requirements, and deliver accurate workforce insights.

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) (e.g., Global Human Resources, Payroll, Talent Management, Compensation, or Recruiting) highly desirable.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) preferred.
  • Experience in enterprise level HRIS implementation, Oracle HCM is preferred.
  • Experience in HR Technology / HRIS, with at least 8 - 11 years specializing in Oracle HCM Cloud functional design and implementation across multiple modules.
  • Experience in payroll systems
  • Awareness around the principals of lean and streams of waste
  • Experience in the preparation of business cases that support the approvals for new investments
  • Exposure to the mining, construction, and /or engineering industries desirable.
  • Must have operational experience with HR systems, including HRIS
  • Must be able to evaluate available software and applications to determine how they can enhance existing business operations.
  • Excellent communication, and ability to operate at all levels of the business, different cultures and dispersed delivery teams
  • Ability to develop process maps
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset, genuine care for others, a can-do attitude and being comfortable with change
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules: Core HR, Absence, Time & Labor, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning, and Recruiting.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM security, workflows, roles, and approvals.
  • Experience in global HCM implementations including configuration, testing, and rollout.
  • Expertise in data migration, data integrity, and compliance across multiple geographies.
  • Hands-on ability with OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and dashboards for reporting.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and payroll/benefits system integrations.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes and compliance (e.g., GDPR, data privacy, local employment laws).
  • Experience in change management, training, and adoption strategies for HR technology.
  • Project management skills (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) to manage implementations, testing cycles, and cutover activities.
  • Stakeholder management – skilled at engaging with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors across multiple regions.
  • Problem solving & decision making – capable of analysing complex HR/tech issues and recommending solutions.
  • Collaboration & teamwork – works effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
  • Change leadership – comfortable driving adoption of new processes and systems in different cultural contexts.
  • Strong communication skills – able to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
  • Adaptability – flexible to shifting priorities, new regions, and evolving business requirements.
  • Cultural awareness – sensitive to regional differences and able to balance global consistency with local compliance needs.
