What you’ll do

Reporting to the Group Manager FP&A, this role leads key elements of the monthly results process and the annual planning cycle (budget, reforecast and three‑year plan), partners closely with senior leaders, and supports effective reporting to shareholders and key stakeholders.

This is a high‑impact role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working at pace, influencing outcomes and driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and capability.

  • Lead Group planning deliverables across the annual cycle, including budget, reforecast and three‑year plan.
  • Produce the monthly Group management results pack with clear, decision‑focused insights and commentary.
  • Deliver detailed performance and variance analysis across actuals, budget and outlook, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Units and senior leaders to challenge assumptions, drivers and financial outcomes.
  • Prepare and coordinate ARC and Board papers for key planning and financial reporting milestones.
  • Consolidate and challenge Group overheads and corporate cost plans, escalating risks and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, reporting, controls and processes, including OneStream and ERP platforms.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and quality oversight to FP&A analysts as assigned, building capability and consistency across the team.

What you’ll bring

You are a confident and analytical finance professional with strong FP&A experience and the ability to turn complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor of Commerce, CPA or CA qualification
  • 5–7 years’ experience in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
  • Experience supporting project and/or business unit financial performance
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, including scenario and driver‑based planning
  • Strong management reporting and variance analysis capability
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, pivots and data analysis)
  • Experience with ERP and consolidation systems such as JDE and OneStream (or similar)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Ability to prioritise, meet tight deadlines and thrive in a dynamic environment
