About The Role

These new roles sit within a broader regional HR structure supporting approximately 1,500 employees across both operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide operational HR support and guidance to leaders across workforce matters and HR processes
  • Support investigations, interviews, procedural processes and case coordination activities
  • Assist with coaching, performance management and employee relations matters
  • Prepare HR documentation including letters, investigation documentation and workforce records
  • Support workforce coordination and workforce data integrity activities across HR systems
  • Assist with onboarding, workforce movement and change of conditions processes
  • Support workflow automation, digital process rollout and broader operational improvement initiatives
  • Maintain strong collaboration and handover practices across the broader HR team structure
  • Build effective working relationships with frontline leaders and operational stakeholders

About You

You will ideally bring:

  • previous operational HR experience within mining, construction, heavy industry or similar environments
  • exposure to investigations, employee relations or workforce management activities
  • the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • strong organisational and communication skills
  • confidence working with operational leaders and frontline workforces
  • resilience, sound judgement and a practical approach to problem solving
  • a collaborative mindset and willingness to support broader team outcome
