The Opportunity

The Senior Supervisor Proposal & Cost will be responsible for supervising the preparation of proposals/pre-qualifications and tender submission within Pre-Contracts/Business Development & Estimating function for internal and external clients.

As the [Position Title], you will:

  • Prepare Pre-Qualification, tender, post tender submission, documents, administration work and requirements as per request by client
  • Responsible for uploading, copying and recording all proposals and tender documents to be distributed to tender team and other relevant departments as required
  • Manage the tendering progress, including working together with other departments, to ensure tender is submitted on time
  • Supervise the administration of all correspondences & documents (hard copy and electronic) incoming & outgoing from and to client related to estimating and tendering
  • Manage document control for tender documents, tender review, tender minute of meeting, contract documents, transmittal advices, and other documents (hard copy and electronic), incoming & outgoing from and to client related to estimating and tendering
  • Prepare and maintain tender files (hard copy and electronic), in accordance with the Thiess Management System (TMS)
  • Manage PIMS/Salesforce and ensure all information are captured and updated in that system
  • Assist in processing invoices relevant to Pre-Contracts Department, including cost of consultants, exhibitions/events, suppliers and expense report; raise Order Requisition (OR) and responsible for administration
  • Generate reports in PIMS (CTR - Current Tender Report, NWFR - New Work Forecast Report, etc.) as required
  • Assist to prepare/review Job Cost Report as required
  • Manage OR/OP in JDE for Pre-Contracts / BDE purposes as required

 

About you

  • Minimum bachelor's degree from related major
  • Organization skills and attention to details
  • Good English communication skill is a must
  • Computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, etc.)
  • Presentation skills
  • Research & analytical skills
  • Networking skills
  • Knowledge and experiences in Mining Services scope and activities
  • Proposal and Tender process knowledge (Market & Client knowledge)
  • > 5 years as contract administrator or similar role
  • PIMS / Salesforce
