About the role

As our next Mining Supervisor reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing a large production crew which includes ensuring the safe execution of the mine plan to maximise production targets and results.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Supervise a large mining crew to safely and effective deliver production results
  • Co-ordination of dispatch personnel and crew allocations
  • Actively seeking continuous improvement
  • Understanding of and effective execution of modular mining processes
  • Effective inspection and reporting processes
  • Appropriate training practices for mining crews

Roster and Location

  • 7 days on 7 days off rotational day / night shift roster with full camp facilities provided
  • The Curragh North project is located approximately 20kms from Blackwater.

About you

Role Requirements as a Mining Supervisor at Curragh North:

  • Open-cut coal mining experience in a similar role leading crews to meet coal production targets
  • Qualifications that support your success within the coal mining industry
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience
  • Excellent communication, approachability and motivational qualities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven commitment to safety
