We are recruiting for Mining Truck, Multi Skilled & Excavator Operators to join our team on a Permanent Full-time basis at our projects in the Moranbah area.

Site Information:

CAVAL RIDGE 

• Contract extended to 2027!
• Family friendly roster - 7/7 roster, 12.5hr shifts – Wednesday to Tuesday shift (Day/Night rotating)  
• Full camp facilities and meals provided - camp based at the Buffel Park Village - 5 minutes from site. Offering accommodation, meals, wet mess and 2 gym facilities

PEAK DOWNS  

• Family friendly roster - 7/7 roster, 12.5hr shifts - Thursday to Wednesday shifts (Day/Night rotating)  
• Full camp facilities and meals provided - Camp is based at Civeo camp in Moranbah, enjoyable lifestyle with access to local cafes, restaurants, gyms, and other facilities. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have multiple vacancies for the following skillsets:

• Experienced Haul Truck Operators 
• Experienced Multi-Skilled Operators 
• Experienced Excavator Operators 

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output.  Operate, drive, and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads.
• Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures.
• Operate, drive, and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads.
• Plant operation experience required:

• Haul Trucks –      789C, 793C/D &F and (797F - Peak only)
• Dozers          –      D10, D11 & Komatsu 375A
• Graders        –      16M, 18M and 24M/H
• Water Carts –       777D/F/G, 785D/C and 980M
• Excavators   –       Hitachi 5600-7 and Liebherr 996,9350 & (9800 – Peak only)

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a minimum of 1-year prior working experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozer, Grader, Loader, or Excavator in a coal mining environment.
• You must have verified machinery skills list (training transcripts) LMS documents, signed by SSE or Delegate. 
• Current Standard 11 – Statement of Attainment
• A commitment to a positive safety culture

• Current Drivers Licence

• Multi Skilled Operator’s     -    $143,165.20/Annum incl. allowances, excl. super
• Excavator Operator’s          -    $166,610.06.00/annum incl. allowances, excl. super
