You will oversee the team’s efforts to control medical and health hazards, focusing on preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, while driving a culture where occupational health is prioritised alongside safety.

- Oversee the delivery of medical monitoring, health assessments (pre-employment, periodic), and wellbeing programs.
- Ensure OH considerations are integrated into project tenders and planning.
- Monitor and report on OH compliance, ensuring adherence to legal obligations, and manage audits to assess the effectiveness of OH management systems.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including health providers, medical facilities, insurers, and regulators.
- Lead training initiatives to build OH capability within the company, coaching project leadership teams and Health & Safety staff to improve their OH management knowledge.

We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years of experience in an occupational health or allied health role, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical case management or leadership, ideally in international operations. Experience within the mining sector is highly desirable, particularly at both the project and corporate level, as well as a proven track record of managing health risks and assessments in complex environments.

Familiarity with hygiene management, medical case management, and auditing is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required, alongside excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively engage with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
